Been Around the Block

New to Dakka Dakka and felt I should introduce myself.
I have been playing for 10yrs I have played the following armies:
Dark Eldar (before the wych cult)
Tyranids (last edition)
Space Wolves (last edition and this)
Daemons (Tzeench/Slaanesh)
I am a fairly unconventional player I see little things and tend to latch on to them no matter what the statistics/ math hammer say. I live in North Dakota and have never been to a large tournament or one on the tour. I will be attending Astronomi-con this summer and will be looking for help in preparing for that. Thanks in advance for any help and hopfully I can pitch in a good idea or two somewhere along the line.
