Been on dakka before, but it's been quite a while... and things look like my old account is either no longer active or I can't find it or some such. Same username though.
Anyhow, I started out at the end of 2nd edition and have played off and on since then. Usually for about a year or so at a time, each time trying out a new army.
So I've ran basic marines, a stint with black templars, did a long run with dark eldar, tried out inquisition and then did a doublewing dark angels. This time I'm trying out Imperial Guard and still running my dark angels while the guard get fully up to points.
For the most part, I'm a modeler first and do a lot of converting to my models. I do a decent job with green stuff and I sculpt/mold/cast parts for a good portion of my pieces. My dark angel bikers are converted into jetbikes. Things of that nature.
I've also got an odd fascination with barrels all of my armies have a handfull of them scattered throughout (favorite is a terminator throwing one like a football).
On the other side of it, my name is Scott and I'm a mechanical engineer living in Michigan... I like to cook and my favorite color is blue
