So, if I was to go ahead and hand-build a Kustom Force Field, Ball & Chain Weapon Arm, Custom Heads, Belly Gun Mount, and a Lifta-Droppa Arm all cast out of resin, do you think it would be a worthwhile venture to sell them (with proper avoidance of IP infringements in the names, etc). I figure I can make them from plasticard, set up some 2-part molds, and sell them via an eBay store or off my website (or here?).

I'm sure you'd find some people to sell them to.

you could always ask the guys at Trollforged to give you a hand with casting, if you detail them enough, a simple two-part mold may not suffice.

Are they going to be single-peice?

Doing the casting isn't too big of a deal, it is mostly that, should I do it, would it be worth my time and effort.

What I plan on doing is scratch-building the aforementioned accessories for my own Stompa, which I will simply make two-part molds for the various portions as needed, then cast them in a basic resin.

The heads and belly guns would be single pieces, but I figure the KFF generator, the Lifta-Droppa, and the Ball & Chain arm should be multiple parts.

I need to draw them up, build mock-ups, and see what it takes to do this before I get too much further. Still, I wanted to send out some feelers to see if anyone would want these items.

The answer to this question depends on your skills if say ein aduro ect put out stuff I would probably buy it I would need to see your conversions if it was worth it for you.

Really gonna come down to cost vs. Quality(detailing, thoughtful design,etc.). Hard to say until you have product or masters to show. I would also imagine that others might have similar ideas in the works, so the clock is probably ticking so to speak...

Yep stompa parts are always needed.

Hmm. I will see about working up some possible masters when I build them for my own use and I will go from there.

I would definately be interested as long as the quality was comparible with that of the current kit.

It has always suprised me that GW haven't released an upgrade sprue similar to the one for the battle wagon, or even that FW haven't done a Mek Stompa upgrade, considering the popularity of the kit and the amount of options available for it's Imperial counterpart (Baneblade + variants) I think that GW are reallt missing a trick.
