I mean, really. The codex isn't even out yet and every time I see a new (insert something about Blood Angels here) thread, it drives me a little more insane. I mean, the anticipation of codices has been getting stronger and stronger (Wolves were bad, Nids were worse, but BA have been ridiculous), but this is a little OTT, even for someone like me who likes to read about the newest, latest and greatest.

Edit: Not like I'm innocent - I started a thread and have commented on the threads multiple times - but I am seeing the boards inundated with them.

Nah Im stoked about them and I never usually get all hot collared about new armies....

I am kinda interested in seeing the reality as opposed to all the guesswork and see who was close

I'm really exited about the models... but on the whole I've really lost interest. The whole argument over LRs deep striking has tipped me over the edge, I just can't wait for the next 40k release so all the fanboys will have something new to drool over and the naysayers will have some new cheese to moan about. Frankly I'm busy planning how to incorporate winged jump packs into DAs and muscled torsos into Slannesh CSMs. On the other hand it is going to mean that suddenly my strictly Codex Astartes Imperial Fists are going to start looking like unorthodox marines...

Yeah, I'm really just waiting for Necrons and Dark Eldar, I was only excited about the Blood Angels because that means their release is out of the way and the other armies can finally be put out.

They're the new release, so of course we're hearing about them... It's understandable.

No love for the Sisters of Battle either. I'm not surprised giving their third class citizen status by the dev team.

I'm just surprised they have angel wings considering they're all vampire wannabes.

I don't think the hype's been any more than what we saw for Space Wolves or Tyranids..

I am preaty sick of new seperate space marines codexs being made. It annoys me that we already had a new space marine codex and 3 chapter codexs but NO NECRON OR DARK ELDAR it me off. The space marines are not only uber but are more favorized by GW and there for recive tons of stuff every year while other small races wait for a codex for about 6 years.

The blood Angel codex is no big thing for me.

I dunno about the wings either. Then again, they are Blood ANGELS. And angels have wings. Still, it sort of effuses the entire army with an effeminate feel it didn't have before.

I am tired of seeing BA, mainly because I am ready to see rumors of the NEXT codex. I don't really care who it is, but now that the BA are figured out, I want to see the next big thing.

Black Templar would be sweet (because I used to play them, and stopped after how bland they became after 5th), but two Marine releases would be a bit OTT.

Maybe DE? Necron? =I=??

I'm not all that interested in the BA dex, just another marine chapter. Now that BA's are coming out, what is the next codex in line?

They are cool and any new codex coming out is fun but I will say that it being just more space marines is getting a little old now...But at least they are getting them all out of the way now I guess? Im getting rather tired of seeing new space marines. Id be pretty pumped about chaos as they will prolly get alot of new chaos toys but other then that. After blood angles I really hope to not see any space marines for awhile. Plus it just keeps making the vanilla sm dex look worse and worse.
