Heres a list iv been running for 2k its quite nice/ fun to play with 9trukks and two squad of 12man stormboyz to give them cover saves =D
If you know GWAR or know of him, he knows what this army is capable of, and I'm sure this list sucks against Dark Eldar and Eldar and random lists that any of you will poke at me for, but maybe if you play vassal we can give it a game and see =D

ok each nob needs different war gear so you can use them to there fullest.
no they only anti armor you have is PKs so i would add boarding planks on all your trukks and red paint jobs so you can get there a little faster.
i like the storm boyz for the real fast PK.
so it looks like you are just using the mek for a cheap HQ but i would add a KFF to him so your trukks will live longer.
They don't have different wargear because of points and how I run this army the big mek is naked because I needed an HQ and hes in the 5man nob squad there no kff because I use the stormboyz as cover for two rounds. Its quite simple list and it does what it says TRUKK SPAM with 9 trukks coming at you

The very definition of a glass hammer, only with no ranged ability. I could see it noobhammer someone with a lot of infantry, but anything mechanized or shooty would appear to be able to shoot this to pieces unless I'm missing some magic way of opening transports or surviving sustained shooting of bolter fire or better.
If you remove a trukk boy squad and a trukk nob squad and remove the trukks for the other nobs, this should give you enough points to field 3 battlewagons, give your Big Mek a KFF, and the removal of the stormboyz should give you enough for Lootas and some Burnas in one of the Battlewagons.
Now if your attempt is to be different from other Ork lists, I would keep the Stormboyz and use them instead of Trukk boyz along with the Battlewagons. Why? Well they are great for their speed, they don't suffer as much damage as say a trukk exploding from one big shot (a temple will wipe most stormboyz out though), and can exploit the speed of jet pack infantry.
Doing this however changes the composition and intent of your army. I suggest ignoring the comments that harshly criticize you for past events and look to see where you can improve the survivability of your list. Dedfinately take at least a KFF Big Mek.
It's not like these are fringe armies. If you win game 1 and 2 at any tourney woul pretty much play these list for the rest of the games...
Yeah, my other friends have asked why I haven't done the 3battle wagons, and It seems my tactic goes pretty well with the stormboy shield for the first two turns. But yeah the mech armies are doing pretty well lately

You had stormboyz in your last list too.

Oswitz, my DE ripped you a new one, but you have to understand that they were probably the weakest army I could field against you. Yes, I had 15 dark lances. Against your army, they are useless. I spent 3 turns popping 6 point boys with dark lances because they had nothing to shoot at, and I had no flamers.
You didn't want me to bring my orks, which would have done *very* bad things to you. I'd be glad to let you test this list out against me though if you like.

I don't see any shooting on the other players side of the table. I see some rhinos and foot guys and saw a drop pod show up.
Did he bother shooting at you over the first two turns or did he just let you crash into his lines uncontested?
If I have an Imperial Guard army I can pretty much table your entire army in 2 turns with your deployment if I go first. I drop 2-6 Manticore Templates over your trukks kill 2-4 of them and wipe some stormboyz likely forcing tests for all of the trukk boyz caught under it. I drop Hydra and AC shots on the remaining trukks (3 Hyrdas and 3-9 Autocannons that's 36 shots total) and then I have 3-9 vendetta LC shots into your trukks killing 1-3 of them (that's a conservative estimate) and then another 15-24 multilaser shots from all of my chimeras on whatever is left.
That's on turn 1.
On turn 2 you move forward as far as you can 18-24" and then I just do it again and your whole army is wiped or running away.

he had 3 squads of long fangs that shot at my trukks that i kept getting c.s and saving them, kinda the tactic. and Dash i wouldn't mind playing against you =D
I made a list with 9 Buggies and 9 Kanz and some trukks. It has 24 vehicles, all with a cover save. It also has 32 rokkits. Lots of firepower at range, and still way too crap on the board much for really anyone to take out on turn 1 or 2.
I do believe a trukk spam list has some potential, though it may not be the most competitive (could be close).
There was a similar list at last year's Ard Boyz 2009 finals - the guy who played against the leaf blower guard. He lost, but a large part due to him starting 2nd, especially when the guard's list was an alpha strike type.
I do believe that guy must have had his fair share of victory, especially when he actually made it to the finals.
