My gaming club is soon starting necromunda and i was wondering if anybody had any tips they wished to share?
I've got a list somewhere which i will try to find. Any tips welcome I'll need gaming, modeling and painting help.
I'm an experianced 40K general so I know the basics.

Heavy: Laspistol, knife, heavy stubber
Heavy: laspistol, flamer, knaife

Ganger: knife, Autogun, Frags
Ganger: Knife, club, lasgun
Juve: knife, laspistol, club
Juve: Knife, laspistol, club

What do you think?

Expect my posts to have a bazillion edits. I miss out letters, words, sometimes even entire sentences in my points and posts.

I think the general opinion is that Stub-guns are worse than awful.

Also, arming your Juves with a pistol and a club seems redundant. The laspistols are pretty reliable, and they will get the bonus for 2cc weapons with the knife. Also, as an opening list, another Juve might be a better buy than the Frag grenades.

Ok Ive played my first couple of games. Unfortunatly I forgot my list and had to guess at what I had.
But after that game I know realise how good cc is and I'm keeping the clubs as they make people s4 in combat.
Also thinking of changing it to an Escher gang.

A little smaller than average - check individual model heights to see if they'd be noticably smaller.

Reaper's Chronoscope range is excellent, and frequently updated. There's also plenty of fantasy stuff.

These are a little taller than average. It's pretty much a fantasy line though, so might only be useful for sword wielders.

Not bought any of these yet myself, but there's a great variety of minis armed with everything from rifles to rocket launchers.

Again, not bought any of these yet, but there's a few choice figures that would be good for an escher gang.

I picked up some of their pirate girls to use for juves - £6.50 for 4, or another pack at £7.50 for 5.

Only found the one mini here I'd consider using, but you might find the site useful for other things.

Okay, this one I've got just for potential conversion bits. They've just released a nice new heavy machine gun.

Various theatres of war represented, including modern, in both bits form and actual minis, though I suspect the latter will be of lesser interest to you.

Mainly scenery, but check out the Heresy minis under sci-fi figures. Not the original source, but the original source has an awful website.

Uh, I think that's everything. Do try not to end up with the same gang as me
There's also this mini: http://trollforged.com/shelf_sci-fi_Ganger.html

Hey Hey VikingScott.

Dreadnote has got some good links there. Your gang looks promissing. I'm doing an alternate Escher gang myself in my Necromunda campaign as well. My gang (suppose) to have a gothic lolita / suicide girls / game character feel about them so i'm only using GW figures for stand in at the moment or for conversion. If you like you can take a look at my gang here.

Looking forward to see how your gang goes.
