Hi, I'm looking to sell my vanilla marine army, almost all fully painted and i was wondering what i would be looking at if i where to sell it. I would say they are fairly well painted.
Here is a current list of the makeup of the army.

HQ
Master of the Watch
AoBR captains (2)
Librarian Tigurius ( I believe it is the second edition model? Need to check)

Elites
Dreadnoughts (3)
Th\SS Termies (still have sprue for Lightning claws) 5
Sternguard 5

Troops
Tacticals (3) - they are full 10 man squads
Dwarf Marines - run as tactical marines, used dwarf warriors and posed with bolters held over shields.
Scout Snipers 5

Heavy Support
Land Raider Redeemer
Devestators (2x Lascannon, 2x Plascannon)
Old School Whirlwind

Fast Attack
5 Vanguard Veterans
5 assault marines
5 assault dwarves
3 bikes

Could easily see the list going upwards of 550-650 dollars as retail and depending on paint quality (would need to see a close up picture on best painted models).

Keep in mind though that is what you probably paid for it and effort put into painting army. It all depends on what you are willing to get in order to part for it. You'll get a few nibbles if you low-ball a number for people, or have people PM you and you give them a reasonable expectation for price.

Also make sure to say if you are selling the army here on dakka what you expect as payment (paypal) and where you will ship to would be reasonable and if you are willing to split army up.

Judging by the size of the army: Add up the retail price, then take 10% from that total. Add the costs of each pot/can/bottle of paint/glue opened/used(no matter how much was used), then devise a price you'd liek for your efforts. 5-15 dollars per 5 or 10 models for example.

Do YOU think this is a competitive/cheese list, or a casual list?

Split it up into smaller forces. You will get a much higher value as most people are unwilling to pay a large sum at one time. I would say to try and break it up into about $200 listings.

I ended up selling a similar sized group of space wolves a year ago, except I also included a bike squad, a couple rhinos, a LR and a predator for $350. They were pro painted - like, seriously, the guy that I had purchased them from was an artistic god. Unfortunately, painted models go for substantially less than unpainted. Its weird, but you begin to realize no matter how awesome the models look, you want to do them your way, ya know? I'd say if you really wanted to cash out, strip them all before you sell them - it'll hurt like hell to swallow, but I'd wager you'd get ~$100 more for a $30 simple green investment. Also (as hyperviper6 said), if you have the patience to piece it out, you'll make a boatload more.
