I'm chained to a small desk with a 486 25SX at an elementary school in the middle of a M*A*S*H episode over here with a killer ear infection that would drive someone to seriously contemplate suicide. Someone died (maybe they had the same problem), so the temple gongs are going constantly. The school year is almost over (3 more days! ) so the kids are all going ape gak. By ape gak, I mean constant screaming, squeeling, crying, shouting, yelling, armed with recorders and kazoo organs. I feel like Grendl. Even my teeth hurt! All this with less than a week to go until I escape to Bali Island for one week of unsupervised beer fueled mayhem!　I'm on anti-biotics and non-painkilling painkillers at the moment. I think I need a bottle of Wild Turkey.

So what about out there in DakkaDakkaland? Anyone else sick? Just got over something? Just coming down with something?

My grandma is sick, and ergo will be down in Florida next four days to see her. Hoping all will be well, but not looking too good.

Man I recently had the maaaaaaaaaaaaaadest stomach ache litterly could not be more than a couple of yards away from a toilet.

ruined a couple of days of my week..

Better now though must have been a dodgy work breakfast or something..

I've just had a regular 'flu. That sucked, as I were unable to sit at the computer or even play the guitar due to sheer pain and feeling-ill-kinda-stuff-you-get-while-having-the-flu.

My entire school seems to have the sniffles, I decided to join in, apparently.

It's warm enough here that the pollen has cranked up - everybody's sinuses are driving them nuts.

...Whenever I'm home sick, I use the time to paint my Nurgle armies! Pus for the pus god! Phlegm for the Phlegm throne!

I had swine flu a few months back. I felt like the walking dead for two weeks.

The meds are kicking in - I'm coughing up chewed caramels now. Ugh. The pain is gone out of the ear which is really nice as my teeth dont hurt anymore. Everything will be OK for Bali (I am so, so, so stoked) it appears.

@Demonslayer82 - It might have been a dodgy breakfast indeed. Years ago before I went to China on a vacation I made some chicken for lunch at around 3 pm before going off to work. Well, I guess the chicken wasn't cooked all the way and at around 6 pm, my insides went to critical mass. Between 6:23 and 8:10 (I was giving TOEIC tests at the time so my room absences were documented) I went to the toilet 17 times. I thought I was going to die.

I have a cough that won't go away. I think it's consumption. :(

I have a rash on my arms that has pretty much cleared up, and my cold is finally over.

Indeed I laid there and thought "Surely there is no more to come out" but low and behold..... then came the dry heaving my god that was painful had enough films to keep me occupied I must have watched as least 8 biggest catch up ive ever had.

But it was embarassing my guts are anti social as it is (Nervous depression/stress side effect) the joys eh...ah well off in a minute to talk to my careers advisor...thats the first hour of the morning rinsed heh 2 then im going home..ah life is indeed sweet.

I'm not sick.

But last week I pulled a piece of foam out of a kid's ear, behind which there was a great case of otitis externa causing him to have 40 degree celcius temperatures.

Also I see 40-50 people per week with flu/cold/URTI per week.

Running a swine flu vaccination clinic tomorrow. YAY!

I keep having loads of problems with my teeth - over the past 2 years I've had 4 teeth out (nowhere noticable, thank feth!) and about 5 fillings. I had one today, and I'm having another next week. I brush my teeth and use mouthwash twice a day, and try to avoid sugar as much as I can.

I put it down to grinding my teeth whilst standing, clutching a bottle of water in a sweaty club - for most of my youth.

I'm 13 and I've had pneumonia 3 times.... Just got over a cold, though....

Last time I had a flu in the October.
