This is the display I've spent the past few months working on for my Adepticon 2010 Team Tournament.

The overall idea for the team was a Genestealer cult army based on a WW2 winter theme in a fortified city with Russian-style troops.

Vostroyans and Valhallans for footsoldiers of the PDF, controlled by the local government officials, who are cult sympathizers
Kasrkins for the elite police force controlled directly by the brood magus
Hybrids converted from Catachans, Cadians, and Genestealers who toil away endlessly uncovering ancient beasts lurking deep below the surface of the planet so they can join the great father in eternity.
Genestealers that currently reside in the sewer of the city, unnoticed by anyone who merely travels through.

Fun facts: The underlying wood frame weighs over 50lbs! There is over 5lbs of snow on top of the board, 2 large 8'x6' sheets of insulation foam were used, totaling over 4 cubic feet of foam. well over a gallon of elmers glue was used to stick everything together. after adepticon the board will be well traveled, having gone over 5500 miles, Starting in Washington State, going to Florida, then to Illinois and back to Florida!

also, I dont have pics of the finished models on the finished board yet, I may get those up in a couple of days (Im working on the transportation aspect, we have 4x 1850 armies with display boards, this 4000 point team army and display board, 3 lord of the rings armies with display boards, AND spare clothes etc all to pack up in one car.)
