I just bought a box of Nobs today I thought I should convert one into a painboy as I HATE metal models. I dont have a bunch of bitz in fact the only stuff I have is a few bitz from Grotz box, Stomboyz and whats in the Nob Kit. I figured I use the buzzsaw arm ment for Cyborks and theres a harpoon type thing I though could be a Urty Syringe. Anyone got suggestions for it. Or any pics of your conversions?

Aside form a little green stuff or scratch building a 'urty syringe to make him look doctor-y, all I can say is maybe paint him white.

Check out my gallery, I've got photos of my painboy up there that I converted from plastic nobs + other odds and sods, (may re-do the paddles and control panel on the defib unit on his back though) if you want some inspiration/plagarism material (either way I don't mind lol)

Ive see your painboy a little while ago when you first posted it. I love it. Whats that metal bit you but on the end of an arm.

Here's a kind of lousy picture of my painboy:

The buzzsaw is from the nob box, as is the body, pistol, and so on. The medical mask is (admittedly ham-handed) green stuff. The shoulderpad is from a Space Marine apothecary, and the medi-pack is from a Catachan command squad.

Did you do anything special with pistol or did you leave it as it was?

On the end of the 'urty syringe is the barrel of a DE splinter rifle cut down, but that is plastic. Apart from guitar wire, the only metal bit on the model is the light on the shoulder, that is a headlamp that came with the metal killa kan models.
