I was at first thinking Tzeentch and khorne, but now Nurgle and slaanesh are options. Your opinion?

hmm nurgle is really good but tzeetch is really fun it really depends on your style of play
if you like assualting and getting right in there with alot of guys then go khorn.
if you like fast play that your guys pack a hudge punch but cant take much punishment then play slaanesh
if you like guys that can take a ton of punishment and can hit fairly hard then nurgle is great
if you like a ton of sycic powers and involnerable saves on everyone then tzeentch
you could even do undivided with some special random game play but have more guys.
but it really depends what you want to do.
a buddy of mine as an army of each and rolls a dice to see what army he wants to play lol I like them all too.

Tzeentch tends not to play well with others. He's actively hated by Khorne and Nurgle, and indifferent towards Slaanesh. Khorne and Slaanesh don't care for each other either, so the only really viable options are Khorne/Nurgle (The "Tzeentch has cooties" club), Nurgle/Slaanesh (An orgy where half the participants are obese and covered with oozing sores, pass), or Tzeentch/Slaanesh (Big brother chess club captain and little brother frat boy).

This really isn't an issue in the recent CSM codex. Unless you're just talking about the logistics of how different marks work together w/in a CSM force

Nurgle is very good. Plague marines w/ meltas in rhinos.
Chosen w/ 2flame 2 melta in rhinos - outflank
Oblits/defilers as heavy
Daemon prince wings & warptime
Makes for a very good list.

But I probably would have to dedicate my chaos (if i had them) to Bubbles, the chaos god of (Silenced by GW's lawyer marines). If you know who I'm talking about I have to give you credit.

Death Guard, is the better chose in the current CSM codex. Last longer then any other CSM or SM model in CC, plus you can bring three melta, one which is a combi

the "meta" list has replaced 3xplague marine with 2xplague marine and a bezerker unit, mainly because plague marines dont actually kill anything in close combat....

Meh, the nice thing is it's Chaos so you can pretty much run whatever with whatever...it's chaos!

Heck, Plague Marines that are led by Slaneesh DP's seem the norm...

Your book is written to use a mixture of everything. To not allow yourself the use of everything is the same thing as a marine player saying he doesn't take certain kinds of tanks or models in terminator armor "just cuz." By dedicating to a certain god you only hurt yourself and gain no bonus. For modeling purposes however, I say choose whatever you want and feel free to have Nurgle-looking marines that have some obvious reason for functioning like Berzerkers or T-Sons. It has been said officially that this is the way the codex was meant to work so no one can give you crap for not following their version of 40k.

Tzeentch is for sure now...but still cant find other chaos god. probably not nurgle (plague marines dont fit mah CC needs)

Khorne. They have the beserkerz, and really nice models. Second to them is nurgle, just becuase of the cool nurgle armies ive seen in the days.

Slannesh/Nurgle is the best combination. Just imagine the conversions you could do with Slannesh and Nurgle deamons! Plaguebearer/Deamonettes anyone? A very sexual Greater Unclean one? You could even put him/her on a palanquin love couch.

HAHA okay I've been doing my chaos homework for a week straight now because I'm now joining the post squat world. One thought that i didn't go with because it seemed too cheesy was throwing down a Nurgle/Thousand sons army. Plus you can unify them easily under the Black Legion banner for a common paint scheme. Now you put the Nurgle warriors on bikes for the 6 toughness and some Tzeentch terminators for good measure with a 4+ invulnerable save. Drop Fabius Bile as a leader and do the 3pt per model upgrade for the extra strength and have Lucius Front up some plague marines so those pesky multi-attack squads get denied an assault bonus due to blight grenades and lose another attack for touching Lucius. BOOM CHEESE IS SERVED.

Or you can go with the Cliche` that has worked since 2nd edition and throw Abaddon in front of a ton of Khorne Bezerkers and back it up with some heavy tanks. But if that is your taste in cheese, blood angels would probably serve you better and happen to fall from the sky seeing as Space Marines are pouring out of every Orifice GW has and a few sores Nurgle gave them.

If Fun is your goal then i might recommend go for it all. Fly Black Legions colors and Have all four in there. And if your circle accepts Apocalypse and Imperial Armour Rules too then you can throw down some zombies. Which i found out last night are hilarious when they get a hold of imperial guard. you got Abaddon for killing power and then don't forget Bile to control the Zombies. Well rounded with Tzeentch terminators, Nurgle Bikers, Khorne Bezerkers, and some Noise Marines for fire power and as long as you keep the squad sizes small you'll have points to spare.
