I just grabbed a load of old WD magazines a guy at my club was giving away and when I looked throught them I found a list for making a zombie pirate army. It won't be very competitive but it looks fun to make. The rules still work but I don't know if it is still legal. I don't care if it can't be used in tournaments as I never go to them, i'm interested in playing them in a GW.

Does anyone know if it's still useable. The WD number is 306. I am sure the list is available online somewhere but I can't find it.

oh, i remember that! its not usable in tournies or anything unless the TO says it is, and you should only use it in friendly games if your opponent is ok with it. most people should be fine though, because fighting zombie pirates is awesome.

I'd agree. Tournament organizers will tell you what's legal in their tournament, and otherwise, it's a player by player basis.

Now almost everything in that list can easily be used as something fairly similar in a normal VC list, so if you like the models, I'd say go for it.

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”
