today i was in a game a killed a damn land raider with a unit that i once thought was useless, a deffkopta, i got luck as feth and immobilized his ass 2 times with 2 diff koptas squads

I had great fun with Deffkoptas the other day. Was running 3x1 Koptas with Rokkits and Buzzsaw. Went first, Turboboosted 24" in the scout, the opponent didn't steal the initiative and I managed to pop 3 Hydras, a Vendetta and ripped off 2 Demolisher Cannons, all on turn 1

I blew up my brothers hammerhead with my deffkoptas. Theyre not in the least bit useless. 3 rokkits hitting with twin linked, and 8 strength. Not bad.

That's what twin linked is for. And if you miss, no worries, just assault and auto hit with S7 vs (usually) AV10 or AV 11

At a tournament I was at today, IG vs orks

IG1: lazcanons shoot at truck and meganobz not much damage done.
ork1: deffcopters wreck two vendetas a valkrye and chimera
IG2: lazcannons shoot copters.

Went first, Turboboosted 24" in the scout,

I guess it can only move 12'' in the scout, not longer.

Ummm I might be missing something here but getting two immobilized results doesn't equal a wreck, it counts as a weapon destroyed result instead. To wreck a land raider with glancing hits you need 5 such results and that is without any upgrades (1 for each weapon, 1 to immobilize it, and one last shot to finish it). Now 5 Deff Koptas with PERFECT rolls could do it but the odds are a bit against ya.

And yes you can Turbo Boost in the scout move, but you must stay 12" away from the opponent's models.

Nope, they can go 24" in the scout move.

Deffrollas were my MVPs in two of my three games yesterday. Played IG and had them take out two leman russ's with Zogwort coming in a close second by turning Yarrick into a Squig and then being blown up by KMBs. Then in my last game i took out three Land Raiders with them. Meks in that game were a close second by repairing the BWs to keep them going. The LRs either immobilized or destroyed the deffrolla three times. Great games.
