Ok , here are the first of my Tanith using green stuff .

Cloaks look a little big and poofy around the head on the last 2, but otherwise really nice.

Like metallifan I don't like those cloaks otherwise it's nice,but you need replacement for big paludrons so go for it.

I figured they had to be big enough to fully cover the model to provide actual cammo , therefore the ones over the heavy flammer and voxcaster are rather large . When I figure out how to post directly from my computer and not from another website , I'll be able to show more plus finished paintjobs .

Solid start. I agree with the cloaks on the flamer n vox caster though. As realistic as it is it looks a little silly.

You could have the cloaks rolled up though to stack neatly on their back or something maybe?

Also tanith, fluth wise, are very well equipment for IG. All soldiers have individual micro coms in their ear. In battle they would almost always wear their helmets as well as full battle dress with lots of little pouches across their webbing.

And of course you will need to include models to represent their skilled snipers as well as commisars Gaunt n hark. Maybe even a priest figure for Zweil. If your going fluff wise. In terms of a gaming army however you might not want them.

It may be unrealistic, but just leave the hoods off the cloaks - its obviously pretty difficult to make a realistic sized hood without the wearer looking like a hunchback. Other than that, really cool models, you've got a great ability w/greenstuff!

The 'hunchback' look is kinda growing on me. I'm just really impressed with the beards.

Some are Catachan and some are Cadian . A little bit of green stuff to make them different .

Large cloak + flamer = occupational hazard

Dude... Trying to kill space aliens with a flashlight = occupational hazard. If anything, the flamer is IMPROVING his chances of survival, even with the big cloak.

Hahaha indeed, im so into the books atm (Just finished His Last Command about an hour ago) so when i play IG i become afraid of lasguns

These are actually old in as far as the army goes , some of the first ones I did . I've done over 50 more using mixed parts from Cadians , Catachans and green stuff as well as using several Necromunda Eschers and Van Sarr models . I've just gotta get of my A.... and take some photos . I've also got several of the original Tanith minis and even a few painted .
