So I've been playing the new AvP game... and whilst doing so all I could think was "Space Hulk, Space Hulk, Space Hulk!!!"
Never played the original games, but they're so old they surely deserve a redevelopment?
And surely such a game would do well? Just imagine Doom 3, Quake 4 or AvP... it's easy to make popular corridoor-based sci-fi games.
C'mon GW, it's cash in the bag!

The upcoming game Aliens: Colonial Marines will be more like the Aliens films, and therefore like Space Hulk. You and a small squad of badasses fighting hordes of scuttling, chittering beasties, with motion trackers, smartguns, and flamers. I would definitely buy into a new Space Hulk videogame though.

It should be like L4D or something. Co-op with your teammates to do missions, or kill the termies!

Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. Genetic control. Information control. Emotion control. Battlefield control. Everything is monitored, and kept under control. Core has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control. All in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction. And he who controls the battlefield, controls history. Core has changed. When the battlefield is under total control, war... becomes routine.

That sounds like the way to go for making lots of money with seriously less effort than a complete single player campaign. It would also greatly avoid the fact that you wouldn't need much serious voice acting talent. Just get borieal from soulstorm doing the marine voices.. he's already quite the famous chap ;p
Another mode of play i would recommend (other than playing with a few mates as terminators stomming around shooting things) would be a "counter-strike" like game mode. Two teams, a objective and a timer, simple and effective fun (so long each side gets the tasty tasty weapons and biomorphs/transformations/whatever/candy).
Hmmm... a Space Hulk game these days on PC would be pretty pimping... We shall see what "space marine" turns out, then perhaps see if they will preform some magic on this topic, yes? ;p
