Welcome back! But if that was a sweeping advance by the termi's after you lost the close combat then it was played wrong. Any unit with Terminators in it are to slow to do sweeping advance, so you would have just run 2d6 then turned around and fought more. Pg. 102 of Space Marine Codex.
