Okay, I was dumb enough to no shave off all the mold lines on my 8 black reach boxes of orks. They are all put together. What do you guys recommend i do to get all the mold lines off. I am planning on getting table top quality.

He means at what angle at which to hold the blade.

I would suggest holding it centre on, as long as you do not press too hard, it should remove the lines with no to minimal scarring.

Hold the edge of the blade normal to the tangent plane at the the mold line and with the longitudinal centerline of the blade perpendicular to the mold line and scrape the mold line off.

It depends, some people, myself included, hate Mold lines, they can ruin the best paintjobs.

Though, it's all down to you.

Acid.

Also, Acetone will melt those mold lines right off (along with a large portion of the details on the model, likely leaving it as a gray blob).

CHAOS SPAWN!

just use the exacto knife like how you would use it naturally, not much of a technique needed for that. except for cutting your thumb...be carefull with that.

You're not playing the game like I play it...why aren't you playing the game like I play it?! O_O

Black reach orks are a little different then the regular ones. The regular ones don't have the pin holes on the arms and neck. Also the regulars don't have the bar on their feet, and the torso, legs, head and both arms are separate pieces. Also you will notice the Black Reach orks hold there choppas to the side, the regulars hold their choppas in front of them.
My opinion with painting, is that if the model looks good from 3' away its good enough. Most people at my local shop barely even look that close models anyway. I personally didn't remove every mold line.
