Sorry if this has already been answered but I couldn't find it on a forum search.


I'm looking to upscale some models from Epic to 40k, but I'm not sure on how to convert the scales.

Do I just multiply all lengths by 4.666 (28mm/6mm)? That seems like it would be too small.

GW never made the Epic models in scale with each other so I'd not worry too much about multipliers. Just use common sense on what type of unit your are sourcing and what it would compare to in 40k.

Drat! So there is no easy answer...

Alright then I'm thinking a Khorne Lord of Battle would be about the same height as a forgeworld Warhound titan (~10-11 inches), whereas a knight paladin or the like would be a little shorter in the 8 inch range.

Those sound about right to people?

I thought Epic was roughly 1:300 scale for the vehicles. That should give you a starting point and then just have a think about how it should relate to an infantryman size-wise.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
