Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Too slow for my tastes. I mean, three-four turns before you start bashing people over the head...really.

But when you do get to bash them over the heads, you bash them over the heads well. Really Bill, you guys did pretty well with the little greenies, and you're complaining about how they do well?

Bill's problem is he doesn't enjoy their play style, not that he thinks them ineffective. He might do better with battlewagon orks.

I think Alan's feelings on Orks may be very well summed up when I asked him how they were doing Round 3 and got a very resounding "Meh" out of him.

Yeah, no complaints about their effectiveness. Grotzookas are awesome.

But mainly the playstyle. The whole bowling ball thing isn't my thing, really. Prefer a far more maneuver-oriented army.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

I hate me some orks.

That is why I never played them before and I had no idea what I was doing during the tournament.

Lucky for me I brought some anti-fungal cream that I was able to use after the team tournament and it seems to have gotten all of the green off.

I have an email from you last April where you thought the Kan-wall was a neat idea, and fun army concept!

We've been letting Bill & Jon pick the armies for too long. I think it's time for circus-freak Daemonhunters next year!

I can relate man, the guard just didn't do it for me. Even though my beastmen looked awesome, it just didn't feel right. It was also embarrassing to have my beastmen get the gak kicked out of them by a squad of meltavets even though I charged!

I think we did pretty well considering, but we need to do somethin' else next year. Something that lets us complete games faster.
