So he charges forward and targets infantry. He gets six attacks on the charge. Rending plus reroll to wound equals awesome. With saga of warrior born he gets better every turn.

Try Frost Blade, SShield. Otherwise he eats 3 Krak Missiles and is suddenly a lot less fun to use. Wolftooth is unecessary, as he'll mostly be hitting on 3's anyway.

The rending only grant to normal attacks. Since he always take some kind of power weapon, his attack would not be rending. And you always want him to slaught infantries, correct?

Only such a expensive guy won't make sense at all. But when runs with other wolf-mounted lords, iron priests, TWC units...he would be a monster.

But on a Thunderwolf Mount his toughness is five so he cant be ID by Krak Missiles. Also he already has an Invulerability save from runic weapon. This is just for fun anyway. Ya your probly right on Wolftooth being unnecessary.

The runic armor invul is only against Psy Powers. 3 Krak Missiles later, he has lost 3 wounds. He now has 0.

Since he is T5, your enemies would use high strengh shooting to get rid of him. Most of these weapons have low AP. So 3++ is better than 2+/5++ for general purpose.

Oh and you need a wolftail talisman. He may run out of your anti-psychic bubble(or you don't have a rune priest).

Don't sink too many points on 1 unit.

SW cavalry often have many units which cost around 200pts each, every could kick ass in combat.

If there are some big cc-unit need to beat, charge 2 cavalry units to them. You have long charge range to ensure that, correct?
