As a person that has done his travels in Asia it sounds like a normal weekend for my friends and I back in the mid to late 90's but without the Cos-Play. Congrats man!
I loved Asia, it was so much fun. I sware things were legal there that would get you a hard 50 in Federal Pound you in the prison here. What comes to mind: Booze, Blow-up sex doll, air cannon and a mule.

#3 - The Mikasa of Admiral Togo is pretty bad ass. I did the tour years ago when I was enslaved at an eikaiwa gakko in Yokosuka, Yokus'ka if you're an American.
#7 - My wife is reading that at the moment. Apparently it is 'Omoshiroi'. I'm partial to Lupin III, myself.
What did you think of the gaming scene in Japan? The Jimbocho GW is pretty good size wise as is the one in the Nakano Broadway. Ikebukuro has the best staff, I think. Did you find an independent retailer in your travels?

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

You have no idea how much I want to read this now. How's your Japanese? No official translation yet. It's called Saint Young Men, Saint Onisan or 聖おにいさん. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Young_Men http://zepy.momotato.com/2008/08/29/manga-saint%E2%98%86young-men/ Automatically Appended Next Post: Soladrin wrote: Anyhow, I'm still planning my trip to Japan, first thing on my list however: Hot Spring. Question? Is it allowed to post a link to a translation of that manga? Since it's not released here it shouldn't be illegal... right?

No, it's illegal.
Googling Saint Young Men will easily turn up a link to translations. Let people do that.
I suspect it will never be translated because of the chance of outrage from the religious communities.
Which is a pity, because it does not disrespect Buddha or the Christ, it portrays their human side mixed with their spiritual side.

I'm not offended by the manga of Budda and Jesus as roommates. I am offended by overly religous neighbors that planted a huge scrap wood cross in their front year with a purple sheet hung off it, fake funeral flowers and a picture of Jesus printed in low quality jammed into a document protector attached by duct tape. The worse yet is the picture has Jesus in space with what looks like him shooting fire balls from his hands.
It is so ing tacky I bet these old ass ers are craming for the final exam. Just die already you ing nuts! Your dragging down my home value.

Yes, but the key thing is that he can order a beer in a majority of civilised world and get slapped in a bar by women because he mispronounced a word.
I know this is going to sound bad but a $100 US dollar bill normally helped me cross any language barriers. It is admazing on how many people do know english when you whip out a green back. Greed is king.
