Hey guys, I was thinking of using an Infinity Haqqislam Asawira Regiment model as a basis for a counts as Cadian Marbo:

What I've read is that while Infinity uses the same scale as GW, Cadian models are a bit oversized. I was wondering if anyone knows if this Infinity model wouldn't look like a midget or giant compared to the normal Cadians? And if anyone actually has both this model and some GW models, a comparison shot would be most appreciated.

Cant help you with comparison but you could do what I do, buy one and find out yourself.

Its an obvious answer but no one else replied...

As long as the mini's you buy come as "28mm" then I don't see why you cant use them. SM are too small (same height as an IG) and yet the most popular army in 40k.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

Infinity minis are about the same height than GW, but the proportions are more realistic, with smaller hands and heads than GW.

INFINITY models are awesome, and the game is fun, but they look positively emaciated next to the bloated monstrosities that we've all come to know and love in GW's world!

Agreed. I use a few as Void Born, so their thinner and taller bodies fit in, more or less.

The hands and heads on GW models are sometimes larger than the parts on 1/35th scale models.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I prefer hydrocephalic.

Yes, the Infinity models can work quite well.

I have a Haqq model (character) as the Company captain for my Tallarn force (ccs and, two platoons and three mortar teams) and he fits in pretty well.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I'm planing on using these, only problem I have is they're a bit expensive and the only place I know I can get them is all the way in the OC (I hate going into Orange County the Freeways are out to get me, I know they are)
