These are my Night Goblins painted to look like smurfs, there's 10 more to come yet, I'll finish them tommorrow but it's just more of the same.

can't wait to see, A few months ago my wife painted my 500+ night gobs and snotlings, into smurf's muppets and racist "klan" members, she thought it was funny but so do I lol... green ftw!

But the white doesn't look quite right. Are you using white primer? Also, is that blue paint under the white?

I must play way to much 40k, cause first thing i thought when you said smurfs was Ultramarines.

funny color scheme, really good when done, but lots of work before achiving the end...

also one hint: dont you think you will hate yourself painting models and giving them your full attention but when your done you realise that you better had to remove the mouldlines first?

i see this ever so often in the galeries. people seem to love their figs give all for the paint job but fail to remove those fugly mouldlines...

gets my neckhair raised everytime...

Here's the story of my smurfs painting, when I first get models I always prime them on the sprue, then build them, then when I can be bothered paint them. So these were primed the same as the rest of my NG, which are black, I then had the idea of making them smurfs, so it's black under the white. I get that you can tell but I thought it looked quite effective, I've decided to repaint my whole NG army like this though, and also i'm finishing this squad today hopefully so I'll post it up later. Pictures working now btw, also do you guys think I should whiten the robes and maybe rust up the silver a bit?

I always wanted to do a goblin army, all painted to look like angry smurfs. Thanks for stealing my idea! I decided against doing the army just because of the amt of models I'd need and the fact that I just hardly ever have time to paint anymore.
