Subject: Anyone seeing quality issues with the Deff Dreads?

I bought one last night and found something arrgh.
After using a sharp set of sprue cutters, I noticed that there were hollows in the sprue where it met the front torso and another part or two. I think that they will get covered up by the face plate. Did anyone else see this?
Other than that I'm very happy with the model and am glad I got it instead of the metal one my store has for a few bucks cheaper.

I've been incredibly impressed with the dred and kans, I found the entire kit to be in perfect order and fit together like a glove. Perhaps you should complain about the quality if it actually affects the model, GW are very good at sending out replacement stock.

I'll send then an email even if it doesn't need a replacement but I think it will be ok.
Come to think of it, there was a teenie tiny bit of flash. Easily trimable and still within what I'd consider high quality so it may have been just a freak defect or near the end of a run.
Like a glove is a really good description. The modified tenon joints (think that is the name) on the torso are brillliant. It really looks like someone talented worked it in CAD.

Can't help but agree with the guy above, the Ork stuff is excellent. I've never had so much fun putting simple transport tanks together, especially as the kits are frikkin' versatile too. I made a pickup trukk with one box.

My kits were superb. Sounds like maybe a random bad spot.

Yeah I would have to agree, freak molding. I've found stuff like this from time to time... but very rare.
