Hey guys just want to show off these pre-heresy style jump packs I picked up from www.maxmini.eu. I'm really happy with the overall style but not too sure about the sizing, so just wanted to see what you guys thought. Looking for any suggestions that people may have as too how improve them really. Thanks in advance.

Remember, this is back in 30k. Stuff wasn't as pretty as it is now. That had to be big to allow the packs to even work properly I'd say.

"From the fires of Betrayal unto the blood of revenge we bring the name of Lorgar, the Bearer of the Word, the favored Son of Chaos, all praise be given to him. From those that would not heed we offer praise to those who do, that they might turn their gaze our way and gift us with the Boon of Pain, to turn the Galaxy red with the blood, and feed the hunger of the Gods."

I have a whole squad of Skyclaws equipped with these for my PH Wolves and I love them. The size is right IMHO, it matches the ones pictured in the HH artwork perfectly. My only complaint with them is they're tilted slightly too far up to me, but it's a minor thing.

a decent build but the composition isn't right.. too much of the turbines weight is located away from his centre of gravity. He'd just fall over from that, power armour or nay.

Whilst they look good they don't fit with post heresy power armour. Put them on pre heresy armour and post again pls.

They still look to big to me. I think the only way to solve the prob is to put them on actual assault marines and have them all flying(ie up off the base), weither it be in stems, wires or huge blasts of exaust. In the air I think they may look better perportioned.

I must agree that they look a bit too big.

I say the only fix for this is to strap some orks to em.

Thanks everyone you seem to echo my concerns on the size.

@Fayric- Thanks for link, the ones from chapterhouse look amazing too, especially the whole individual air brake thing. I may just have to get a few for comparison.

@Thanatos73- I feel the same, they just seem a little bit to angled. There is a natural line in the casting though so i think I may cut one of them just too see how it sits.

nice, but indeed they are a tad big, might be resolved by pushing the tips a bit more down, if you know what I mean. And yeah, it looks a bit off when strapped on a post-heresy marine. But when you've finished, please let us know!
