Dunno if this the right forum, I didnt notice a CCG section.

ANYWHO, so today one of my brothers and myself bought the chaos marauders card game. It was pretty damn fun. We only could fit in one game before we had to disperse. I basically got my butt handed to me, mainly because I wasnt paying close attention to what the cards actually did, as we were still learning how to play properly.

But Ive got to say, if youve thought about this one, or have just seen it for sale, pick it up. Its a good play

Yeah...

There's a reason for that(named the OT Brigade).

It's not(at all). The post was a joke about Old Dakka, which had a 40k CCG forum that was invaded by the OT Brigade and made into the OT Wasteland before the Russ god's wife(can't remember her name, sadly) found us and shut us down.

Sorry, for no relevant content, as I've never played it(or any of the other LCGs).

Columbus, Oh

I don't think Chaos Marauders is a Collectible Card Game. It comes in a tuck box, and is self contained, yes?

I ask, as it if WAS collectible, that is different from the original release of the game, back lo many years..

technically, I guess, this is a re-release...

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

Order of St Ursula (Sisters of Battle): W-2, L-1, T-1
Get of Freki (Space Wolves): W-3, L-1, T-1
Hive Fleet Portentosa (Nids/Stealers): W-6, L-4, T-0
Omega Marines (vanilla Space Marine): W-1, L-6, T-2
Waagh Magshak (Orks): W-4, L-0, T-1
A.V.P.D.W.: W-0, L-2, T-0

FFG calls it a LIVING Card Game and swears it's not collectible.

I own the original, old version of it and it´s great fun! There´s a skaven flamethrower that can devastate your own ranks or the enemy´s on a 1/6 chance. An ogre that can eat your treasure cards.
And the rules are written in a very funny way ( it even suggests the orky way of playing the game - just reading the summary and start bashing in a totally chaotic way)
The last time I played, however, we forgot about the fact that you just have to complete one row of Orks, not all three. By thus, the game lasted for 3 hour, but it didn´t get boring at any point of time.

Blessed be the mind that is too small for doubt!
