I know the older Grey Knight Deamon Hunters had the weapon in both Hands. But the new ones have it in one, and my gamming friend says because they have the storm Bolter Built in, and the Force Weapon in the other, they get the +1 A, Even the GW store said they get the +1, i thought the built in storm Bolter is so they can wield the Force Weapon in Battle.

Im i missing something??

Current rules are that NFW is one handed per FAQ. True grit counts the storm bolter as an additional off hand weapon if you are NOT charging. This means you get 1 profile attack + 1 charge attack on the charge, or 1 profile attack + 1 extra close combat weapon attack after first round.

yeah, basicly, we always get a charging bonus even when not charging. Thats how I see it.

Almost...be very careful saying it that way because there are some things out there they can deny a charge bonus. You get an extra attack for having a Storm Bolter and being a Grey Knight. Psycannon and Incinerator Grey Knights do not get this extra attack but do get a charge bonus.

just mob him with a ton of boyz. standard greyknights have few attacks, yea they are str 6, but that shouldnt really matter at only 2A per guy, 3 on the justicar. overwhelm with numbers and let your boyz duff em up like they enjoy and know best. otherwise, speed is good. get in CC as fast as possible to deny any shooting that will thin your numbers. furthar tatical advise will be avalable in tatics forum methinks.

Just shoot them up before assaulting anyway. GKs are costly and few in number, they don't need to fail many saves to be wiped out.

either way.... my orks dont tend to pack alot of ranged firepower....aside from the big shootas on my trukks, or the dakka on the bikes.
