After getting on a site which is rated #1 for a game I play, I tried to utilize its purpose and failed at every turn. my trade listing was deleted because its a sale not a trade when you ask for money. I offered a trade but said I have them up for sale at the moment so you better come with the goods before they sell. boom deleted by bot. then I put them up in their auction house and it brings me back to the first screen. I look in the auction house on this site and nothing. go through the motions again... same thing. then I think to myself, what if its just not letting me see what ive posted for sale? So I post a plea for help. The site is so user unfriendly and half the stuff is worded ambiguously I'll ask someone who knows WTF theyer doing. I got denied the ability to post multiple times because my post "was not long enough to describe my problem". as decided by a bot.

While waiting for the help that never came (this site has 5 times Dakkas traffic and I couldn't get someone else to check the auction house for me within 20 minutes or even a snippy n00b jab) I checked out the forums to see what was up. Nothing but complaints about how Ban-happy the mods are to those who dont kiss ass or know in game or real life. I hit my limit and reported my own post for a violation of the rules. I figured if anyone read anything on that site it would be the tattling. The problem I listed with my post was as follows.

I am quitting *********** for a number of reasons.

1. either your site is not permitting me to post auctions or is not allowing me to see what ive posted. im not sure which

2, 3, and 4. after an insane load time to get to your forums i have determined that most of the users on this site are immature and that has lead to your site mods and admins countering with iron fist tactics. I dont want to have to jump through hoops because of others inability to act responsibly on your site.

5 I think offering to trade for something "if you catch me before they sell in fm" is a trade not a sale. especially when i cannot make it a package deal in the fm, or your auction house, by throwing in the ****** too. but thanks for deleting my trade anyway.

6. I will not be told what is a sufficient size for a post by a bot. Unlike others I can state my problems in a paragraph or less unless i am tearing someone a new one.

i looked through the options and I cannot find a delete my account button so i leave it to you (not that i looked real hard). From what I have read in the forums its what you guys are best at. Also if you read my post you will understand what started all of this and maybe delete my auctions. Those almost 90 people with ******* wish listed didnt need them anyway. Dont bother sending me a reply because im not even going to log in later to see if you deleted my account or any auctions that may or may not exist under my name. I have notified you of my intentions and if you decide to conserve space on your server thats your business.

I REALLY feel your pain man. A few months back I started an online petition for the ork deff rolla. ANYWHO, I was banned and scoffed at and made fun of so badly on other sites it was just sad. I couldnt believe how gakky the online community actually was. But no I think you are in the right. Welcome to dakka though. You usually get what your looking for here.

I lurk before joining. Lurking without adding anything is a bad habit i picked up from the Chans. I just thought id use a comparison to show that i do in fact appreciate the Dakka Community. Found myself thinking in my frustration last night "id never have to deal with this on DakkaDakka" Figured id share and thank you guys for not sucking.

He's probably trying to be polite by not saying what site it is, despite it's crappyness, to save Dakka the trouble of any mouth breathing fans that might read this

I also lurk a little bit before joining a site, saves time later if it turns out to be bad.

I am having difficulty in finding any real value in this thread.

As the site is not identified, there is just a vague rant.

If the site were identified, it would contravene our usual custom of not ragging on other forums.
