I don't know the specifics so bear with me on this. Apparently at the GT finals this year there was an army consisting of:
Thunderwolf Lord
3 Wolf Guard.
15 Blood Claws.
15 Blood Claws.
5 Thunderwolf Cavalry.
Crusader.
Crusader.
Is going to a 1500 pt GT with this army even plausible???
It sounds crazy.

I'll see your 41 models with my 26....
At 1500 points in 3rd ed I used to run at tournaments (including GTs):
Avatar
Farseer (with a WG unit)
x3 units 5 wraith guard
2 warlocks (one each with the other 2 WG units)
3 waveserpents
3 wraithlords
vyper.
Everyone paniced at the slow, slow, slow WLs and shot at them whilst the WG and Wave Serpents did all the killing.

Ahhh, yes but thats Eldar and their armies are quite small.
But to have 41 Models and go to a competitive tournament sounds crazy, but looking at it a second time, it does tick all the boxes for a competitive list IMO.
It's a very mobile force packed with hard to shift MEQ.
It has a ball breaking unit that can pretty much kill what it wants.
With two LRC, it's a tough nut to crack.
The only things I can see it would have issues with is MCs and Vehicles.
Nidzilla would stomp a mudhole and walk it dry, as would IG.
An old adage from a favourite film of mine:
"First we crack the shell, then we crack the nuts inside!"

Actually - I ran dual-raider BT lists similar to that at 1500 in UKGT. Blood claws are way better than neophytes =p
I did pretty well.
Did this person? With all the melta around now... who knows.
