I've never even thought about stealing, but it seems like it would be easy. I've seen some shady looking people in the store, and they seem to constantly be observing where the staff are, and what people are doing. My local store has no cameras, and people are always huddled into the gaming portion.

I don't know. This has been bugging me for a while, just because it seems so wierd for people to steal enourmous boxes filled with clattering platics. So, yeah. Do people do this, or do I just have that "angry shop-keeper" kind of personality?

Well of course they do. Pretty much every store is sadly subject to five finger shoppers.

I don't know... I find that hard to believe..

I mean, if it's your local store, it would really stink to get a bad reputation...Although the more I think about it, the less I think people like that would care.

Wear a hoodie and look hungover..

The staff will watch you closely.

This was my experience.. Dont wear a hoodie and you get the sales pitch instead..

Also alot of people don't really have a local store that they are known at.

That's true. It's just as easy to go over a few stores.

I just remembered! The other week, I was playing a 500 point game (lol), and I was carrying a bag from the levi's store. I remember seeing some guy almost throw a LotD (legion of the damned) squad into my bag. I asked him what was up, and he got all nervous and basically ran away. I would have been happy to take the models (give me a break, who wouldn't be happy to find those in their bag??), but I swear, the nerve of this guy....

Okay, I admit it, I took a flamer out of the lost and found box that wasn't mine. I'm sorry.

Gamesday is usually a free for all where five fingered discounts are concerned. Plenty of shifty looking teens with open rucksacks and bags doing the 'I'm not doing anything shifty' look by the SW boxes last year.

I have never noticed in store though I suppose it happens as it does elsewhere on the high street. if you notice them they are not really doing it properly.

This is a true story well this wasnt at a GW store but a hobby town but this guy had two other guys come in with him and distract the two workers with questions about stuff in the store and he grabbed this rc car that had a picture of a dodge viper on the box and bolted out the door and at the same time the other two guys blocked the workers then ran but i was fairly close to the door and so i stepped in front of the door but this guy still was running towards me but i threw a punch into his face as he tried to wrestle me away from the door but unlucky me his partners in crime came up behind me and they just kind of had at me but i gave a hell of a fight they managed to get out the door but a few minutes later the police caught them running down the street i got the crap knocked outta me but i did what was right
