So this is obviously a very frustrated and snapped individual. His home is being taken by the bank, so he rams his pick-up truck into it.

He threatens to do more damage, but he is being charged with being a menace and danger to those around him.

Is this a man who deserves to do what he wants to do to his house before he turns it over, or should he be vacated to a safer, jail-like location until he chillaxez.

For this...no jail. Jails are already crowded.

Make him do about 100 hours of comm. service.

I can see the frustration but unfortunately the bank owns the house so vandalizing it won't get you any sympathy and that was a really dumb thing to do.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Like I said, jail-like:

I do agree though that community service is probably what he will get. Of course, they will have to track him down after he vacates the house and lives in his Ford.

They should make him build a new house.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

(THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK)

Interesting that he wasn't able to keep his home but he's apparently wealthy enough to afford a lengthy trial procedure by declaring himself not guilty.

Do you remember that time that thing happened?
This is a bad thread and you should all feel bad

Yes I hate that people lose thier house. But it's not the banks fault. You are free to agree to all terms. You can't make the payments you lose the house. The people need help making unfair payments. Not freedim to breat things they don't own.

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I remember a film that dealt on similar issues, farm forclosures. While a fictional story it followed a real trend of what eventually happens when prices rise but the value of corn does not.

Miles From Home

It was a good film, but gave more sympathy to the destitute farmers who torched their farm than the real life home owner today. However icrumstances are different too, negative equity is anymans problem, if you cant afford you downgrade.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I think the current system is to blame... Was the man trying to make the bills? what was the story?

did his wife go into the hospital and die, but he was left with the bills?

there is a lot of unknowns here.

It's NOT "his home". He doesn't own it outright. He isn't even keeping up with his payments. If he paid for his home in cash, sure, he can do whatever he likes. As it is, the bank is repossessing the home for non-payment. And deservedly so!

He should given forced labor until all of the repairs are paid for. Plus interest.

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

I have a feeling this has something to do with something being in the water around here in Ohio. Thats the second time within a month that someone decided to destroy their home with machinery. The other guy used a bulldozer to take out his whole house. People have been becoming extermely stupid when it comes to their houses foreclosing. Both had built their houses themselves maybe that has something to do with it. "I brought you into this world and can take you out of it!"

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!
