Ok so me and friend were talking about making a Defiler that doesn't suck. And we saw an AT-43 Baal Golgoth and we wanna use it as the base for our conversion but we can't find a size comparison of the 2 models. Don't wanna spend the cash ordering the At-43 model if it's gonna be to small to be the base for the conversion.

If its like the Red Blok super-strider. Then it should be about the same size, but sorta short.

ive never herd anyone say that defilers suck, how odd

Honestly my standing with defilers is that they have a INCREDIBLE model, but they could use a buff to say front armor 13? they just go boom too damn easily.

I run Vindicators myself, but Ill but a defiler just cause I love the model.

Idk what to tell ya here. We just never liked the way the GW defilers looked. And my buddy runs 1 in his 2000 point army but we've been using a proxy because we have been trying to figure out something to base a conversion off of. But if yall think it's about the same size but short should be fine then. Thanks a lot.

Looks to be on a larger than 60mm base (regular golgoth/strider size).

Possibly an 80mm or larger. Would probably be a trifle small for a defiler, but I agree - I don't like the defiler model either.

That is pretty neat. If it turns out to be a bit small then you could easily bulk it up a bit with random chaosy bits. and extend the legs a bit.
