So recently I purchased the citadel air brush. I didnt want anything fancy because i just needed it to throw down a quick base coat on my tanks and was going to see how it worked to base coat entire sprues of troops. The problem I now have is that the gun will not spray any paint. I thinned the paint down to almost be water, and I checked the intake tube (the one on the pot's lid), liquid flows through it freely when I pour the paint mixture through it. When I pull the trigger, the propellant comes out fine. Any ideas for whats wrong?

Citadel == fail 90% of the time. That's your problem right there. Otherwise...the intake tube is not in the paint?

The tube to the needle is probably your problem. I had to adjust mine very frequently when spraying all my tanks. I went through 2 pots of paint and only thinned them out to the specs GW said to.

The nozzle might need some adjustment. Typically I'll have to play around with it for a few minutes before finding an acceptable spray.

First fail = GW spraygun is NOT an airbrush.

Second Fail: Probably nozzle/needle issues. The markings on the jar apply ONLY to the foundation paints. Any other paint needs fiddling with to find out the "perfect" levels.
