Alright, so I bought a box of khorne berzerkers and gargoyles (yes, I am selling the non-wing parts for $15 bucks so im not spendin' $30 on wings)

So far, for the regular assault marines, it's lookin' pretty cool, carving off the rediculously long part of the chaos back pack, cutting off the lower leg of the gargoyle wing and sliding it between the torso and back pack, attatching the top arm on the wing to where i cut off the long part of the back pack.

Still need some greenstuffing to make it look more possessed but for the most part they fit together almost too good.

So, what I need help with is some decisions for other models:

Mephiston, probably going to go with either the skulltaker or Kharn (Any other ideas or opinions?)

Lookin' at maybe using astorath to give them red thirst easier (fits my fluff) but dont know what model to use.

The list I plan on using is gonna have 3 Furioso Librarians. Have no idea how to make a force weapon for a dreadnaught. Most likely going to use the venerable dreadnaught because of the more human-like hand that will be easier to manipulate into holding something. What would I use as a weapon or what kind of a weapon would something like a Khorne sorceror would use? Another thing is that Khorne, as far as I know, does not employ sorcerors. I originally only want the Librarians for big psychic hoods and a cool looking model.

Somehow I also want to employ bloodletters, even if I gotta put wings on 'em, I don't know what I would use them as that would actually be good in a Blood Angels army.

Also needing ideas on how to chaos-ify a drop pod for the librarians.

This is my first real modeling project and I want it to me cool so I'm hopin' for the P&M guys can help me out. Hopefully I can borrow my girlfriend's camera and post some pics if I can figure out how.

Posting pictures is pretty simple. Take pictures, put them on computer, upload to dakka. Then copy and paste the FORUM code on said picture.
Anywho, I wont comment until I see some pics though, simply because it helps me help you, seeing what your going for. Sometimes the idea gets lost in text

Kharn is metal though(I think) and youll need the right tools to spruce him up. Im of the mind that if your going to use another mini for a counts as, you have to customize it. Low powered dremels will be your friend on metal minis. As well as files.

Sounds like an interesting project, I'm looking forward for the pics.

Though it is sad days when the followers of Khorne are using a Loyalist codex

I think its because the Blood Angles really bring the fight to the enemy, like the Khorne boys SHOULD be doing. As well as, the BA codex has cheese on top of cheese, so winning for once would be nice

Astorath is easy. This model:

plus Possessed Wings = Khorne Astaroth.

That's because Khorne HATES Psykers. He believes that using Psychics is dishonorable and beneath him and his followers.

If you want to justify using Librarians, they should be allied Psykers from another Chaos force.

Blood Letters maybe equal Death Company?

Rage seems appropriate for them.

The Psychic Hood seems almost Khornate, as it is anti-Psi, just call it a Khornate Hood instead, but the ability to use powers does not seem Khornate at all. Perhaps use of Force Weapons might be used a counts-as Daemon-Weapon-type fudge, though it would still be a little bit cheesey, but actually using any Psychic Powers would not be very Khornate at all.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.
