Ok, these can't be used for anything other than the Slave Raid mission in the Codex right?

I think that those actually go onto Asdrubael Vect's Raider. Have a look - I'm pretty sure that's them at his feet:

They do. If you look at the one that's obviously a SoB (If you actually have the model)...she's broken off part of the spikes from Asdrubael Vect's platform. Supposedly she has her hands tied behind her back and she's using the spike to cut those bonds or lying in wait to plunge it into his chest. Long ago GW would put up conversions from their employess onto the website. All the needed bits would be listed and one conversion used that SoB slave model and Lillith Hesperax to make a model of Ephrael Stern as she would have been in the arena in Commorragh. Wish they still did that kind of stuff.

Which is stupid, because I somehow don't think that DE slaves are going to be looking like harem girls...

Well, they don't look like 'Harem' girls because what little clothing they have is not of a pre or post Islamic Arab influence. Yes they are 'scantilly' clad so I'm assuming that's your real beef with the models. Why is that even an issue tbh?

It is repeatedly mentioned that it is better to die than be taken captive, that to become a slave of the DE is to placed in a horrible situation, that none escape the Dark City unscathed. They don't embody that at all. Such poses and outfits as they are in are associated with 'sexy' which is something that wouldn't happen either, eldar see humans as lowly animals fit only to use as food or fodder for cruel entertainment, occasionally trying to improve them to something of worth via the haemonculi. If he's demonstrating his power in battle he'd be better off with horribly tortured slaves that would frighten his enemies and leave the serving girls for his palace. If he wanted the appeal of the eye I imagine something like Hellraiser would be better.

I don't don't associate DE with soft treatment. Even loyalty is associated with dark passion and cruelty.

They function as a symbol of status; not of warrior prowess. A symbol to Dark Eldar that he has more then enough slaves 9the basis of dark eldar society) to simply drag them around with him where ever he goes no matter the circumstances, and a a symbol to the Imperium of humanity that no human is supposedly safe from the DE...

Thier clothes dont matter much in that context, and if they simply function to give him pleasure, then thats very Dark Eldar, considering that pleasure is one of their main pursuits even after the fall; which I think is whatthe models are actually there to depict and emphasize, in which they do a good job at representing.

Your point is valid 50/50. What you say is true. But... the designers still added almost naked women. Are the designers wrong in their own product? I think they aren't.

I'm working in some objetive markers with this kind of minis (not exactly the same). I'm also making cages and bases trying to make them look like DE stuff. Yes, of course, an Imperial settlement would not have strippers in a DE platform... but the objetive markers are made for your own army. If I make objetives for my SoB, they will be religious stuff.
