I figured I'd swhare this here too, since I'd posted it at cmon last night.
The cowboy hat was Gav's idea. I really like it though. His hats are magnetized  Anyhow... I've been slowly converting him for a week or two form a warboss I had lying around. Aside from that I figured he needed a "KUSTOM SURVITA ARM jus' like dem beakies." as well as his Kustom force field and burna. Pretty soon I have to toss him in some simple green and scrub off the pain on him before priming and getting to painting.
In the picture next to him is the big mek with Shokk attack gun so you get an ida of how big he is.

I love the conversion, though TBH I dislike the cowboy hat (depsite being a Texan!) it just looks out of place IMHO.

The magnetized hats are hilarious! I love it. The arm bit may need a bit of weldin' or riveting to the back, or at least from the pic angle it looks a bit stuck on there. but otherwise looks fun. Nice conversion, and good green stuff work. AoBR warboss? That guy gets around

Lol they should make an apocalpse rule for twin-linked assault cannon sentry guns.
Also i am loving the model and all 3 hats, also the vostroyans are angry at you nicking their hats.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Mother in law had knee surgery so I haven;t been home in like a week.
the hats are made by putting a 1/8" rare earth magnet in his skull, then sculpting the hat on top of his head. I then pop them off and take a chopped down streight pin (which is shallower than the hat) and push it into the bottom. The magnet will hold it on.

Great conversion work! The hats are wicked funny. Definitely agree with J-Roc77 though, the "kustom survita arm" might need some more structure to connect it to the main body. The laws of physics are never Orks' friends . . .

The reason laws of physics dont bother to work with Orks, is because they believe it works, and so it does. Physics and making sense do not apply to the Orks. I love the conversion man, and agree that the hats are just the tits
