JJ (of Alexander the Great fame) has confirmed on TMP and the WAB list that the rules are fully backward compatible. All special army book rules are now included in the main rule book.
- All indicators are that a number of figity rules from version 1 have been revised to improve playability.

Appears we have the makings of a WAB 2.0 vs WFB 8 showdown this summer. My money is on WAB
