Im building my WOC army and I was wondering what is a good amount of points for basic-intermediate games?

also whats a good amount of points to build up to when your first starting?

For basic games, where you're just trying to learn the mechanics, 500 points isn't too bad. Just enough to get a couple units and a character, maybe one other little fun thing.

I've had a lot of fun at the 1500 points level for intermediate level games. Still fun even after I've been up around 2250.

Honestly, I think 2250 is a good starting point.

You can get a good army for around $250-$300 and be able to play at a lot of points level's, including the point level that most tournies are played at (2250)

1000 pts is a decent sized game, or if you want a little more 1200 pts

I like 1000pts as a starting force for an army. Allows you a decent amount of variety in terms of units and gives you a good grasp of what the army is like, while not making you spend too much =P That comes later, when you know you love the army and just can't stop adding units
