As a follow-up to Whitedragon's comment (which is sage advice), keep your vehicles moving 12" a turn, and use them to prevent charges on your other units. Yes, they will still die, but each additional turn of shooting is a good thing for you.
Most demon players will put their Troops in their second wave, and in objective missions, be sure to start shooting at their troops as soon as you can. Volume of fire is your friend.
Be prepared to sacrifice squads, even Suits, to win you the game. Allocate wounds to maximize the chances of you breaking from close combat in the round you get charged; the last thing you want is for the demons to be hiding in close combat during your next shooting phase.
Most demon units don't have much mobility after they land, so if you can force them to spread out to deal with different threats, they'll be stuck in the hinterlands once they've done their damage. Do NOT castle up; multicharges will wreck you very quickly, and your shooting can reach out far enough that even spread-out units can still support each other.
Hope this helps.
