Then lets replace "FML" with "son of a ******" or any other choice explicit statement due to any event to attempt to keep the trolls at bay. If you're gonna troll build a bridge and get under it. EEEEENY way, my biggest incident was when I rolled 60+ dice for close combat (gotta love orks) and only managed to cause 1 wound on an IG squad. I got the charge and everything.

I managed to get a first turn orbital bonbombardlment off using my Chapter Master that hit everyone in my opponents dismounted Command Squad, rolled 6 ones to wound......

I certainly hope there was sarcasm in that post...FML = F**k my life.

An FML moment of mine came when I tried to deepstrike Angron and 7 Bloodthirsters in a big Apoc game. I ended up scattering and killing 5 of the Bloodthirsters.

Playing a blob IG unit, 30 man with heavy weapons, a CSM sorcerer gets close enough to assault.........and rolls up the entire squad singlehandedly.

A defiler battle cannon shot at my sentinel scatters.......and kills my LR.

I hit a rhino with 3 LC shots in one round......and roll 1s to pen.

I'm an Aussie - OF COURSE it was sarcastic (well, the bit about civilised places*. The lack of understanding of 'FML' wasn't).

You'll have to pry the sarcasm from our cold dry wit before we'll give it up.

*There is an old comedic piece that goes something like:
"The USA is the only country in the world to have gone from barbarism to decadence without first having gone through civilisation."

To expand on that (it does indeed mean "F k my life"), it's came from a website full of brief, one-paragraph or less stories of bad/annoying things that happen to people. It spawned two other sites - My Life is Average (which is code for My Life is Awesome, basically) and My Life is Twilight (which is just silly and pointless). Anyways. Back on topic.

Worst thing that happened recently was basically an entire game - I'm playing my latest MechWolves list, fighting against a CSM player who uses 12 Obliterators (we're playing a Planetary Empires campaign, and he chose the Elite Army event that gives him an extra HW slot). The entire game just went wrong for me. To name a few, my meltaguns rolled ones to hit and to wound constantly, I managed to lose four Wolf Guard on the first turn to failed 3+ invul saves, Njal managed to Perils himself the first time he tried a psychic power, and despite four turns of Lascannon spam from a predator, my opponent made EVERY single 4+ cover save he took...FML.

In one shooting phase I had an ENTIRE 1500pt SM army fail to either hit or wound anything vrs. and Imperial guard army. What they did hit was tanks... what they didn't do was penatrate OR glance.
