Hey guys,

Perhaps what I'm about to say may just be a clone of Cypher, but I think his character is too ambiguous.

Within fan-fiction or lore I'd love to see a Fallen who acts like a penitent vigilante... I've been reading Lexicanum and I've seen how most of the Fallen apparently don't approve of what they did... but then just err, hide or become mercenaries/pirates... Well, that's a good way of showing you're sorry!

So I figured it would be cool if there was some Batman-esque fugitive, who still wears the pre-heresy armour and disguises himself in robes (yes, just like Cypher), he hunts down the Fallen and somehow delivers them to the Dark Angels, probably dead...

To be honest, this idea only came into my head because I'm dying to see the following exchange:

Chaplain: "Irregardless of this token *gestures to body*, you must still answer for your heresy! Your penitence will grant you a painless death."

Badass: "A penitent may be, but I am not yet ready to accept the Emperor's salvation, not whilst my task remains unfinished"

*Smoke Bomb*

Chaplain: "Curse you Batman!!!!11 I mean, err, mysterious totally original non-Cypher guy!"

Let's face it, a gadget-wielding Space Marine superhero in heresy-era armour would be sweeeet.

I'd love to be deluded enough to think I could pull it off...

I'll keep the idea floating about

So's Batman!

Oh, wait, sorry, he's just trapped in time, not dead...

Also, dropping off Fallen at the Rock would be hard enough(how do you drop something off at the door of a massive space ship?). Dropping them off dead would serve no purpose as the DA wouldn't know if they repented in the end or not(the whole point to capturing them alive).

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.

Hmmmm

Nice Idea.
Some of The Fallen is still royal to the emperor. Not god-emperor tho.

And pre-heresy marine is really really strong.
So he can be one-man army.
So....Bat-man....
