After a year and a half of on and off modeling, the Leviathan moves from photons on a computer screen to a real world object.

So this will be 28mm scale, 9- 9.5 " tall, right?
Any estimate of release date and price?

Too bad that the following models are 15mm. Any chance of getting them in 28mm scale as well?

BTW, why do you always speak of printing the models? They look like resin, not paper.

I'm guessing there's a 3D printer involved. Useful for rapid-prototyping from CAD, but (at the moment) still too expensive for mass production, as compared to molds.

Not yet... I'll know after I complete the production molds what the $$damage$$ will be.

Kroothawk wrote:Too bad that the following models are 15mm. Any chance of getting them in 28mm scale as well?

Those are not mine, I freelance for other game companies, these are models I did for Khurasan Miniatures

Kroothawk wrote:BTW, why do you always speak of printing the models? They look like resin, not paper.

They are "Printed" on an Objet printer, it deposits 16 micron layers of plastic with each pass and builds the model. Very expensive but it captures the details of the CAD file.

All the best,
Mark-

They are out they just are not the quality you would want for minis... ZCORP makes them. http://ogle.eyebeamresearch.org/node/48

Mark,

Great news!!! Good to see all's going ahead.

When they're available, I will definitely be in touch, for some weapons at least. (Which means I'll go to your store, aim to buy some bits and end up buying everything in sight...sigh.)

As for that World of Warcraft...thing...well, each to their own, I suppose...

warboss wrote:what is the giant crab walker thing? i'd be interested in using that for a tau titan depending on the price.

It's made for a 15mm game so it'll be too small to be a titan...maybe about the size of a hammerhead. So it could be a walker, a little bigger than a dreadnaught I'd think.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

how in the name of the emperor's pushchair of doom do we get hold of these models?

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

Once the production molds are done I will make them available as a resin kit.... keep an eye on my blog, I will update the progress and announce their availability.

Soooo much work to be done. I need to complete my half baked web page, complete and play test Iron-Core vehicle combat rules, make more fun kits and infantry models and on and on.....

That mini is a MERCS Kemvar.... They make amazing minis. Its closer to 30 or 32 mm scale, so larger than a GW figure
