Ya what sprue do you get the meltagun from? Im making space wolves and i need two. One to make a combi-melta and another one to make a dude with a meltagun.

I was thinking of getting the normal marine sprue but i don't know how many meltas it comes with

GW sells blisters of melta guns (5 guns per blister) in their online store.
One drawback is that these guns are metal.

The normal Marine sprue comes with a flamer and a missile launcher.

Are you planning to make a Wolf Lord/WGBL? You get a combi-melta with the Comander kit.
Insanely expensive to buy the kit only making a combi-melta sarge with it, but if you're going to use it making a WL/WGBL, that gun might as well be used.

What sprue exactly does have the meltagun?

When a mommy multmelta loves a daddy multimelta VERY much, about 9 months down the road you get an inferno pistol.. which grows into a melta gun in about 12 years.

On topic though, I THINK that you get one in the Black Templar upgrade sprue, and I KNOW that you get one on the OOP Space Wolf Accessory sprue, but in current SM boxes, neither the current SM Assault or Dev squads have it.

You get one from every tactical squad box along with a flamer plasma gun seargent standard and a variety of extras like CC arms, bolt pistols, plasma pistols, and I think you get a fist as well.

The cheapest way to get it I would think is the Dark Angel Company veterans sprue, as its 25 bucks Canadian for the Tactical Upgrade sprue that I mentioned above and you get a lot of upgrades with the dark angel sprue like an extra fist, storm bolter with bayonet, two powerswords, and some kickass backpacks.

About 3% adopt an alternate munition-style and become Combi-Meltas...

Off topic, but I love your new avatar. Wide-eyed kitties are great.

I have a lot of meltaguns from when I started in 4th, so luckily I had enough lying around to feed the 5th ed melta rush. I'd go with the GW blister pack; even though they're metal, it's cheaper than getting one melta gun bit for like 5 bucks off Warstore or a similar bitz site.

Incorrect, the current tac squad sprue has all three specials + missile launcher. Also, the command squad sprue has all three specials.
