Sorry for the messy layout. it's 4:30 am and I'm half asleep. Just wanted to see what everyones thoughts were on this make up. I plan on pairing the Prime with the Venoms and running them up the middle with the Horms and 12 normal Terms. I'll outflank the Warriors. Infiltrate the Stealers....DS the Shrikers and Gargs. The Mawlocs are just to do as much damage as I can and I'll use the Trygone Prime as a second staging ground witht the 16 Terms with devourers and the 2 Zoans. The Hive Tyrant and 2 Hive Guard will be the search and destroy group.
Please let me know what you guys think. It should all add up to 2500 pts even.

at 2500 I think youll have a nightmare with anyone running tri landraider or more, or anyone running heavy heavy mech. 2 hive guard? not enough, simply not enough. zonethropes dont work with anti-psykers (granted the s10 lance is amazing when it goes off)

atually, tri or worse raider lists are very common, and in ardboyz, you will see all of the cookie cutter lists out in force.
Not only that, most cron players will run double - tri monolith lists, which are even more of a pain in the arse to kill (have to ignore them)
A few ideas here, but add adrenal's to the prime and the trygon, it will ensure they get to go 1st if locked in combat (the trygon needs to strike before marines with power weps)
I would think about a tervigon or 2.
Your troop units seem all over the place and a pretty weird selection.
With the warriors it may be worth taking adrenal and bone swords, should give you a nice advantage over marines and the likes.
The prime with them will also give a nice boost.

i agree that you need way more anti armor. thats where nids kinda stink now. to hard to actually deal with any enemy armor list.

Ok so I've made some minor changes to the list. I'm not a big fan of Tervigon's so I didn't add any of those.
HQ Hive Tyrant with HVC, HC, OA, AS 290pts
Tyranid Prime with Pair of Boneswords 90pts
Elites 2 Hive Guard 100pts
2 Venomthrope 110pts
2 Zoanthrope 120pts
Troops 5 Tyranid Warriors with VC and 4 Deathspitters 185pts
9 genestealers with Broodlord upgrade and Implant attack 187pts
9 genestealers with Broodlord upgrade and Implant attack 187pts
15 Termagants 75pts
15 Termagants with Devourers 150pts
20 Hormagaunts with TS 160pts
Fast Attack 3 Tyranid Shrkes with boneswords 135pts
20 Gargoyles 120pts
Heavy Supports Trygon Prime with Adrenal Glands 250pts
2 Mawlocs 340pts
Tyranid Prime with be attached to the Venomthropes and move up with the main group of Hormagaunts, Hive Tyrants and the 15 normal Termagaunts. I'll outflank the warriors and Infiltrate the genestealers. The Mawlocs will start the game on board so I can get 2 second turn large blast attempts. The Hive Guards will stay near the Hive tyrant for support. I can't decide if I should start the Shrikers and gargoyles on board or save them for reserves. I'll also have the 15 Termagaunts with devourers and the 2 Zoanthropes in reserve to be used with the Trygon and his subterranean assault. Again, I'm not sure how this will do but let me know. I've read some very good threads on dakka lately that make me think that this may work. Mawlocs to push units around. Gargoyles to just down on the back field. And more than a few large units to clog up tank treads so my MC can get in and open up the cans.

Oh and someone tell me some pros to this list. I'm going to start thinking I'm crazy for making a army list like this lol.

Get a few practice games in and see how they perform. There is still enough time to tweak the list if you need to.
