Normally I play Orks, but my buddy let me borrow his 'nid codex so I thought I'd try my hand at making a list. My Orks slog across the field so I wanted to write a list that would get to the enemy much faster. I know this list isn't perfect so what's wrong with it?

Hormagaunts don't appear to hit as hard as they used to. They seem to really struggle against T4, are there other fast troop choices you could replace them with?

The Hormagaunts need with Adrenal Glands or Poison. The Adrenal Glands mean that they can harm vehicles with RAV10, but the Poison levels the playing field against T4+.

Now the Hormagaunts wound everything on a 4+, what else do I change?

They wound T4+ on 4+, they wound T3- on 4+ with re-rolls. That's important to remember. Vehicles are completely immune to them. That's not particularly good, particularly if they Instinctive Behaviour: Feed successfully.

I think you may want to go with ditching that third Hormagaunt brood and exchange it for a couple of Termagant broods to camp backfield objectives.

Given that you have so little able to affect vehicles, it might be an idea to spread some more anti-vehicle power around the list, like exhanging that Poison for Adrenal Glands, giving the Shrikes Rending Claws.

Two Hive Tyrants with Wings might be preferable to a Hive Tyrant and a Trygon Prime, particularly if you split the Gargoyles and go cheap on them (no upgrades) so they just run interference.

Changed the list, I think everything that's fast should be able to handle tanks and the Hormies can mop up infantry.
