So here's my list. Reasons in Italics
Fateweaver
333
He's the backbone. Star-up 4 other big daemons around him and win.
Bloodthirster
Might
Blessing of the Blood God
275
He's here as a land raider/MC killer. His secondary job is Fateweaver's bodyguard.
3 Flamers
105
3 Flamers

3 Flamers
105
They flame stuff. (best daemon unit hands-down)
15 Bloodletters
240
15 Bloodletters
240
They're the random troops choice. I picked them over plaguebearers for 2 reasons--I have them and not plaguebearers, and 3 of them can wipe-out 10 marines.
10 Pink Horrors
Changeling
175
Sure, why not.
3 Screamers
51
More tank killing. They also double as late-game contesting.
5 Flesh Hounds
75
Psyker hunters/long range annoyances.
Daemon Prince
Flight
Iron hide
Mark of Tzeentch
Bolt
Boon
Instrument
265

I feel that this Daemon Prince set-up is awesome. I really like shooting stuff down then running into combat and booning all over the place.
So, whatcha think? Criticisms welcome.

I just think some of your units are a bit to small. On top of that your troop section is lacking. It just seems that your troops are hit the enemy and then die. The only unit with numbers with be the bloodlets as they are 10 strong.
I dont know alot about the daemon codex, I would look at some strong units instead of single decked units.

I find for quick attack the seekers are way better than flesh hounds and if you have them run at least 1 unit of crushers.

try and make a demon prince slaaneshi. the good o' pavane and flame. you will vape any squad with it.
on a serious note your demon princes are pricey try and trim them down a bit. But the Re-rolls from fate weaver should keep them alive. i would reccomend removing the hounds as they are a free kill point and at 5 strong will just absorb 1 squads shots for a turn.
and if you have them throw in more troops.

I own way to many Chaos Daemon models...why do I need over 200 pink horrors?

Would that even work? Don't you declare all shooting at the same time and it resolves at the same time also, so the pavane would have no effect on the flame hits?

demon prince hits on 2+ squad gets nice and tight. flamers then proceed to remove squad. also pavane is great for objective denial.
shooting is done by unit.
also blood letters are kinda slow and pavane can get them in range really quick and know them out of cover. there are alot of jump packs now a days with the blood angel dex.

If you are going to move your DPs up with Fateweaver you might consider dropping iron hide, since you have already MoT for a 4++, and fateweaver's reroll. Maybe also consider dropping bolt and boon, since you may only shoot them once or twice as you'll want to be flying into CC. If you really want shooting on your DPs then I like bolt/breath better than bolt/boon.
You need more troops choices at this points level. Maybe split up one set of bloodletters into two units of five and hold them reserve to come on the back table edge and snatch objectives later in the game.
Having pavane on your DPs would be nice but I really don't like running a DP without MoT or MoN to make them more survivable.
Maybe drop the screamers and flesh hounds. Both squads are too small to get their job done. Either can be easily shot off the board.
Perhaps split the horrors into two squads as well and give them bolts so they can objective-sit and fire bolts at anything in range.
