What is the worst race or army you just HATE to play against and why?

ie broken, annoying special rules or units that you just hate or spammed units etc etc

Yup, Blood Angles. Every list just seems to involve spamming assault marines and death company and rushing your opponent. There's no tactical skill involved in playing with or against them, either you have enough firepower to whittle them down before they reach you or you get ~50 FNP FC assault marines in the face.

They're an irritating mess of stupid special rules and forced repetition. Hate hate hate etc.

I hate everyone except imperial armies.

I am a true space marine player. I have nothing but anger and hatred for all xenos and traitors.

After the orbital strikes, Thunderhawk bombardments, Whirlwinds, Vindicators, fusion and starfire and finally Battle Brothers with flamers had finished cleansing the world of all the enemies of Man, we built a monastery in the center of the largest, most radioactive impact crater. We named the planet "Tranquility", for it was very quiet now.

Deamonhunters, because they allow allies for leafblower lists (I play IG now, and I refuse to take allies) and because shrouding takes away my 72" Panquisher most of the time.

Runnin up on ya.

I'm curious as to why some peopel chose Tau.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Space Marines. But MEQ in general. Only armies my friends have are space marines, space marines, Necrons and a fledgling Ork force for the Neccy player. JUST SO GODDAMN BORING. Makes me wanna start a new army, which'd probably be either nids or chaos.

Srs, I don't care how 'broken' the angels are, they're not vanilla! Anything else would be great because my most regular opponant = necrons = me win every time. It really gets boring, and it's not his fault his codex does, well and truly, suck.

Atleast, if he builds up orks, we might actually have some fun.

Then again, I do have some guard lying around... :p

Cheese Wolves. They are running a 2nd edition codex, effectively, with all the ridiculous amount of gear options. They also have the most underpriced core troop units of any army running. Against Parking Lot Guard I at least get to kill some stuff, especially if I get into close combat. Against Cheese Wolves, even if I make it past the Long Wangs and get the charge off, they still counter attack with ludicrous amounts of CC power. I honestly feel that, unless I am playing mech guard, I stand no chance of even moderatley hindering most Wolf armies (barring the opponent being a total moron) because everything in the list is so damn good for its points.

Second on the list is probably Daemons, but not because of power. Its just the style of the army lends itself to very boring games.

Currently it's blood angels but that will change. I HATE playing the "new codex army".

Nothing to do with cries of "cheese and overpowered" but because as soon as an army gets a new book everyone and their brother jumps on and wants to play them so I see over 9,000 counts-as armies. Not to mention that the majority of people who jump the wagon are terrible players who will jump right on to the next one, substituting new codex power for skill. I just want to see people actually stick with their armies.
I'm not saying you should only have one but you should want to play an army & be serious about it BEFORE the new book is announced or even rumored, if that was the major deciding point just please don't play the army.

Without the ranting: I hate people who jump on the new codex bandwagon & that is ALWAYS the army I hate playing.

I didn't mean, choose to play, but chose in the poll because we're a pretty weak codex right now so I can't imagine why someone would choose us as a most hated opponent...

Blood Angels. Mostly because of jealousy over their sanguinary priests than anything, I play wolves, and Wolf Priests were supposed to be chaplain/apothecarys, but they have been roped into being mediocre chaplains with no relation to the apothecary side at all. BA get better bonuses than a chaplain/apothecary would provide for only 50 points, and they can take 3 per slot. LAAAAME.

Orks are a close second. I just cant kill battlewagons, one game I shot 25+ meltas in double pen range, 10+ lascannons, and 25+ assault cannons into battlewagons in a BW spam list, many shots into side/rear armor and I failed to get even a single result on the damage table. Super Frustrating to lose a game like that.

THE HORUS HERESY: Emprah: Hours, go reconquer the galaxy so there can be a new golden age. Horus: But I should be Emprah, bawwwwww! Emprah: Magnus, stop it with the sorcery. Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. It's not that bad. Dorn: I guess not. Russ: You all suck. Ima go bring the Emprah back to life.

I suggest you try this again next time you fight that list. Somehow, I have a feeling that barring the terribad dice rolling that plagued you last time you will find that you get an OVERKILZL result.

I have a general hatred for Space marines, but the furry marines are a special case. They have everything better than vanilla marines but are cheaper, Thunderwolf cavalry, and don't get me started on JoTWW.

Want to help support my plastic addiction? I sell stories about humans fighting to survive in a space age frontier.

Necrons. They just bore the ever loving crap out of me. It's kind of frustrating that they're so hard to kill at range, but once I get my Terminators/Nobz/Boyz/Tactical Marines/Grots into assault, the game is over.

Tell me about it. 9/10 games I play are against them, so you can imagine how I feel. I think the worst part of it is, the player is a close friend of mine and it isn't fun to see him not enjoying the game as I thoroughly thrash him every time.
