What type of ground is it going to be? Also wouldn't hurt to put a mound of dirt around him to make it look like more of an impact.
I'm going to assume this is for a Space Marine army, if not there are a few more ideas that can be used

The whole idea of the body going into the ground and his feet sticking up seems a bit too much like an old 90's cartoon (unless you're going for that kind of thing). Maybe making it a bit more "rag doll-ish" would seem more realistic.
