Any thoughts on how this would fair, and changes to make?
HQ- Dante
HQ- Libraian, Jump pack
E - x2 Sanguinary Priests, jump packs, 1 hand flamer
T- Sanguinary Guard, 5 infernus pistols, power fist
T- Sanguinary Guard, Death masks, banner, power fist
T- Sanguinary Guard, 3 Infernus pistols, Death masks, powerfist
T- Sanguinary Guard.
Total -1500
How would this fare?? Any glaring mistakes?

Well it is very different. You will obviously outnumbered by most armies. I would drop the Librarian, and the squad w/ 3 infernus pistols should drop the death masks, then maybe drop the last squad and add some tanks and another sanguinary priest. All priests should have a jump pack and power weapon, and 2 should have an infernus pistol. Edit: double post

I originally was gonna do an army similar to this with Dante, 25 sanguinary guard and some sanguinary priests but then I came to my senses. They are awesome models who will destroy pretty much any target they assault. But say an IG, Tau or SM gunline will mow you down pretty much with impunity. When you land you'll be able to kill a few things with infernus pistols and angelus bolters but then their return fire will likely obliterate you. In the spam-heavy 5th edition there are enough things that are AP2 and ignore FnP to really ruin your day. Especially since you only have 24 models at 1500. Even if you jet across the board you'll probably lose most of them on the way in.
The counter to this is that it'll probably be a very characterful and fun army to play, I just see lots of armies running it over in short order. Now I'd love to see this against and infantry heavy Ork or CSM Khorne army, that'd be a blast.

Well if ur running dante and sang guard you wouldnt exactally "jet across the board" lol. Then again after they deep strike they get to shoot a few things then are gettin assaulted fer sure or gettin blew the fack up.

th: Why would you drop in next to a unit?
Common sense would lead you to drop away from another unit.
Drop in behind terrain, shoot if possible / needed.
Next turn you can decide who will get the charge and where.
Dante's precise drop and DoA should stop you from getting killed in the drop.
As stated though, horde armies will cause a problem, since you will have to team up units to get things to work.
5 sang guard VS 30 boyz will have a hard time.
10 sang guard + Dante VS 30 boyz really will do alot of damage.
But you then have 2 units and a character tied up in a single combat.
All in all: Against small elite armies, you stand an ok chance.
Against horde or gunline armies, your pretty fethed.
Against deathwing / loganwing / Deffwing / GK you stand a pretty good chance.

Yes I think the list will be a challenge, more of a fun super elite army to play with, I think more tinkering is in order.
I can see me loosing alot of games very quickly mind!

I was talking with some friends a couple weeks ago about a Sanguinary Guard army. Initially it seems like an awesome idea, but, the first thing I though of, the Space Wolf psychic power that makes using jump packs count as moving through dangerous terrain would make you slow down LOADS.
You'll then get shot at and what not, maybe losing 2 or 3 guys at the most to bolter fire and then heavy weapons eating up more of you. By the time you get to me I've got a unit of Wolf Guard with Frost Axes ready to have some fun. 24 attacks with power weapons at +1S on the charge (and if you charge me, still got counter attack), that's enough to (potentially) kill most of your army.
Then there's any other units that can get to you, so personally, I wouldn't do an army of Sanguinary Guard, but I haven't actually played the list, so for all I know, it might actually work!
