Base model with Chaos Black spray, base coat of Goblin Green, two washes of Thrakka Green, hit raised areas with Scorpion Green, its pretty fast except for the Scorpion green part and it looks nice, i suggest trying it out on like a leftover arm or head or something after all your bound to have a million of those if you play Orks.

Great paint jobs, i recommend drilling out your gun barrels, it adds sooo much to the model.

I dont believe its your first time painting, but they do look really nice. Im a fan of bright Orks as well. Also I agree on drilling your barrels out, it looks so much better.

first time painting in general no (im in college for art degree) first time painting models yes

You're painting seems rock solid I'd say you should be moving on to advance techniques like blending, or doing things like GW 12 step tutorials on entire squads. Bravo sir bravo

These are really nice looking, as for the 3d models, the top one looks a lot like a killa kan and the bottom looks to be some sort of chimera based tank ?

Those are some high poly cylinders on the exhausts. You may want to cut those down

That green really, really pops. It's a bit cartoony than a scheme I'd use, but I'm just saying that because I'd never get it to look that good!

Well actually the green isn't quite that bright it's from the camera, I cant seem to get it to take a picture without distorting the colors a little.
